Austin police say a Domino’s Pizza driver was robbed by two suspects and held at gunpoint while he was out on a pizza delivery.

The victim was delivering pizza to an apartment at the 10300 block of Golden Meadow Drive on Saturday night when the incident happened.

According to the affidavit, the victim was returning to his car after dropping off a pizza when two men approached him, pointed a gun to his head and demanded all of his money and a ring on his finger.

The victim said he gave the suspects $35 he was carrying and the ring. When the suspects tried to search him, the victim tried to walk away but was hit on the head with the pistol and kicked to the ground, the document says.

The suspects then returned to their car to leave and fired two rounds in the victim’s direction as they drove off, police say.

Police arrested one of the suspects on Thursday. Jose Oslin Cruz-Rivera, 26, was charged with aggravated robbery and booked into Travis County Jail. His bail was set at $100,000.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the second suspect, 24-year-old Henry Magdiel Lopez-Leon.
